What do you stand for?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 07, 2007:
I've read a dozen+ answers, in hopes that it would trigger what I stand for. I dunno. It seems along my journey, everytime I grasp a good ideal I get beat up trying to defend its goodness. The Universe has taught me time and time again, "The only absolute is there are no absolutes." Life is constantly evolving.
I don't think there is any one thing, even a kind of thing, that we are suppose to hold above another- it all leads to war.
After all my observations, the answer is... i stand for now. If I stand for an ideal, it may not fit "now" but I'd blindly defend it anyways.
Here, I can't offer an example, because someone would take offense at the particulars of that example and we'd have an e-war about what I was trying to say. Yes, there are people squabbling about personal principles in zaadz- hush my potty mouth!
I guess I stand for the ideal that all I have to do in Life is keep my ears open and breathe- or I'll miss a living moment while I'm trying to fix it.

Shall we squabble about squabbling? No? OCIJK (=of corse I'm just kidding) (I don't know half the internet lingo so I'm going to start making up my own).
I personlly hope you do NOT stop saying what ever it is you want to say because it may be considered offense by someone … I find that offensive OCIJK! You have such good things to say and I hope to read it all.
Have you read the 4 rules of living from the Basque people?
1. Show up
2. Pay attention
3. Speak Your truth
4. Let go of expectations
Much Love & Peace
BeLynn I appreciate that you observe all 4 steps when you comment. I think you should start your own language- why stop with acronumbs?
I liked your comment on the “Mr. Lace” surprise attack.
When are We going to stop admiring war because its the anniversary of a death button? People need to let go of the glamorization of “the big one” and realize we're in a longer and potentially bigger one RIGHT THIS FRIGGIN' MINUTE! I don't need a chastisement from a war monger, I woke up knowing this day would live in infamy!
I can't tell you what weapons will be used in the third world war but they'll use sticks and stones in the fourth. (paraphrased) Einstein
Do you know the % of Americans who believe “W” is doing a good job is in proportion to the # of people who believe the Rapture is coming? (paraphrased) Jon Stewart.
I know this guy is a professional comedian, but he's got a point. Isn't it possible the Fundamentalist are promoting Armegeddon because many of them believe they have a non-refundable “get plucked off this earth free” card. Seriously. What part of Christ's life reflects that he, who was brutally murdered, would say, “Hey, all you guys who created bombs that ripped the skin off your brothers and sister's children- come on up here. Don't worry about learning from your mistakes- that's not what life's about. Took care of the dirty work for you.”
Seriously people, we're gonna stay here until we get it right!
Man, that felt good!
Thanks for listening.
If you don't mind, when I decide to skate out into the thin ice of this dualistic pond- I'd like to take your 4 principles with me. Of all the $+uff I've read, these are simple, to the quick and fair for all parties.
Heck, I'm going to get my sharpie and post-it, and put it on my monitor right now!
OCINJK
Thank You for speaking your truth!
You saw that I added an “N” to your acronym, right? I added your words to the post-it on my monitor and I rehearsed the phrase all day. My girlfriend appreciates that someone has finally presented me with a direct, healthy and fair for all motto.
I'm serious,
Michel
